The Official pickleball paddle of Champion Ben Johns, the Joola Ben Johns Hyperion CFS 16mm Pickleball paddle is a more aggressive paddle with good combination of power & control. Featuring a Carbon Friction Surface (CFS) that utilizes a more advanced, durable, longer lasting Carbon-Flex5 textured surface, harnessing raw power while providing maximum spin. The Reactive Polymer Core is specially tuned for the high-level player to maximize the consistency of the bounce and feel necessary for every shot.

Additional Features Include:

  • Aero-Curve: Pro-proven, unique head curvature creates less drag and increases swing speed.

  • Hyperfoam Edge Wall: Specialized foam injected into the perimeter of the paddle adding weight and stability, increasing the sweet spot for consistent edge to edge performance.

The part of the paddle where the handle meets the face is weak/wobbling. Can I replace?

I like a lot about the paddle but mine came with a blemish that looked like a slight manufacturing defect. I contacted Joola, and they said to contact Fromuth. I contacted Fromuth, and they didn’t respond. I expect better support for a high end paddle like this. The paddle plays well, I just wonder if there’s anything compromised internally related to that small indentation.

So far this paddle is everything that is supposed to be. The surface is rough enough to give you extra spin if you want it. The power delivered seems to be a bit more accurate, at least for me. I like the length of the handle for different grips. Yes it’s worth it to me so far…

I really like the feel to the paddle. Control is better than my paddletek. I wish you would give a cover out instead of the ball cap. As I would like to protect my paddle.

Enjoying this paddle so far. Great touch, can put quite a bit of spin on the ball. Feels like a large sweet spot. Still getting used to the elongated shape, and need to work on my serve with this one, don't feel like I have as much control on the serve as my crbn2. But otherwise a good paddle

I received the paddle last Friday, April 22, 2022 and started playing with the paddle on Sunday, April 24, 2022. I am enjoying the paddle, but it will take me awhile to get used to the heavy weight.
