I'd actually prefer to give it a 4.5 as the texture doesn't stay as gritty, but it's a great paddle for the price. It's got a great balance of touch and some power. The ball kind of sinks into the paddle for more touch, but I can still crank an overhand when needed. I like the balance and would say this is a great all-around bang for the buck.

A heavy, powerful paddle for sure. When I took this out for a spin on the court, I didn’t expect it to do as much as it did— it’s got serious power behind it. I recommend this to people who are more inclined towards letting the paddle do the work and freeing up energy for their mobility game. It’ll give you that extra push you need to turn your less than stellar swings into good ones.
