This paddle is unique. It’s got plenty of character with its single piece design, and does well with squeezing out every inch of hitting space it can. The sweet spot on this paddle is satisfying, and the grip is fairly comfortable. If you want to “feel” your hits more, this is definitely the paddle for you, and plenty of Gearbox fans will swear by this unique design as not only effective, but cool and recognizable. When I demoed this paddle I didn’t really know what to expect, but it was a unique and satisfying experience. I can see why it has garnered its niche popularity with serious pickleball enthusiasts.
