Fromuth Pickleball - Our Story
In response to the tennis boom of the 1970s, Fromuth Fine Arts, as it was known at the time for its custom framing and art supplies, started carrying items people were looking for to get into the game: racquets, balls, and strings. Over time, tennis overwhelmed the art shop, and Fromuth Tennis was born. Fromuth Tennis is now rebranded as Fromuth Racquet Sports. In May 2021, we launched FromuthPickleball.com, our first direct-to-consumer e-commerce website. For a company like ours that has been committed to the racquet sports industry for more than 50 years, this represented a great new addition to our business model. Our goal is to make Fromuth Pickleball a one-stop shop for not just pickleball equipment but for apparel and shoes from globally-recognized brands, including adidas and Nike.
We Believe In the Power of Sport to Unite a Community
In June 2021, the West Reading playground in our hometown welcomed players from the tri-county region to a brand new 10-court public pickleball facility. Since its opening, the courts are consistently filled with players who take part in a variety of pickleball programs including private lessons, clinics, tournaments, and recreational open-play.
